Dale Latta
For me, making a painting is the act of preparing a visual feast. I want my pictures to be rich, active, and engaging. To this end, I render realistic images with fluid, assertive brushstrokes and intense color.
My paintings derive from photographs of places and people which have had a significant impact on the course of my existence. The emotion these pictures hold for me is revealed in the tension which develops between the realistic image and the thick, color-laden brushwork.

For me, nothing is more personal or rewarding than when you can "touch" art.
I play with clay because it makes me feel good, and I love it when my sculptures make me laugh.
Most of my creations come from that strange place that I call my mind.

Elizabeth Stannard
My primary medium is oil.
Currently, people are my subject matter of choice.
I have been influenced by the stark imagery of artist Georgia OKeefe and more recently by the vibrant color and irregularities in Warhols canvases.
I like to refer to my body of work as a "celebration of feeling". Each painting is a reflection of the emotion triggered by my spiritual and psychological growth.
